Trauma
I specialize in working with women in midlife and later life who are ready to understand and heal the effects of earlier experiences—particularly childhood trauma and religious trauma. For many women, the second half of life brings a quiet but persistent realization that old wounds are still shaping relationships, self-worth, boundaries, and emotional well-being.
I bring both clinical depth and life perspective to this work. I understand how trauma can remain unspoken for years—especially for women who were expected to endure, stay silent, or put others first. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and paced with care. Therapy is a space to explore what happened, how it lives in your body and nervous system now, and how you want to move forward—without pressure to revisit the past in ways that feel overwhelming.
